Based on a program of a local agency, Ecclesia Ministries, Starlight has developed a new ministry opportunity called Breaking Bread. Often people may receive housing, but they continue to find security and fellowship on the streets. The main purpose of Breaking Bread is to establish healthy and safe community and friendship within shelters and single-room occupancies. Small groups are encouraged to take one meeting a month to share a meal with people who have been recently housed.
