Overview
Emmanuel Gospel Center operates programs that help urban churches and communities address complex issues such as homelessness, education, youth outreach, community development, and more. Our programs build the capacity of urban churches in a variety of ways.
The Boston Education Collaborative (BEC) provides resources, develops programs, and builds partnerships for meeting the educational needs of urban youth.

CityServe's mission is to serve the Kingdom of God by recruiting, training, and connecting volunteers and organizations in and around Boston.

Community Development helps low- and moderate-income people learn financial literacy concepts, develop disciplined savings habits, and accrue savings to help achieve their financial goals. Community Development also offers seminars to help churches and community organizations understand and respond to the development issues in their community. In addition, Community Development partners with PEER Servants to do micro-enterprise development overseas.

Greater Boston Church Planting Collaborative supports individuals, denominations, and organizations in planting and revitalizing churches that will thrive in Greater Boston and in turn establish daughter churches locally and abroad.
Haitian Ministries International, established at the request of Haitian church leaders, provides a platform for Rev. Dr. Soliny Védrine to strengthen and support the work of Haitian churches in Greater Boston, the United States, Canada, the Bahamas, and Haiti.

Intercultural Ministries connects the Body of Christ across cultures with the aim of seeing greater expression and advancement of the Kingdom of God in the city, region and world.
- Cambodian Ministries: In New England, Cambodian leaders are working to minister to Cambodian populations who face some of the same issues as their brothers and sisters in Cambodia, as well as dealing with the trauma of being refugees. Because many Cambodian urban youth gravitate toward gangs, Cambodian churches are working hard to reach these young people for Christ.

Ministry Development supports new churches and ministries that use Emmanuel Gospel Center space and infrastructure to get started.

neXus Boston is a collaborative effort that improves the lives of urban youth and their communities by encouraging, supporting and training youth workers to become responsible, caring Christian leaders able to serve urban and high-risk youth and their families.

Starlight Ministries works with volunteers from churches to feed, clothe, offer outdoor worship services, and develop relationships with people who are homeless, and offers advocacy and support to those coming off the streets.
- Opportunity Resource Center offers a safe and supportive environment during the day where volunteers and staff provide case management, recovery groups, Bible studies, and more. Clothing, showers and voice mail are also available to our guests.
- The Starlight Youth Outreach initiative integrates outreach, employment and education counseling, case management, and art activities for youth who are either homeless or at risk for homelessness.

Urban Ministry Training provides training and internship opportunities to seminary and college students, churches, urban pastors, and lay leaders.
