Ministry Development

Ministry Development supports new churches and ministries that use the Center's space and infrastructure to get started.

The Center plays a key role in starting churches and organizations that serve urban churches. Our research and networking with urban leaders help determine the need for new churches, programs or organizations, and our ministry development experience, training and infrastructure help make them a reality. The Center also starts programs that "spin off" as new organizations, and acts as fiscal agent until new organizations can capably handle their own finances.

Over the years, the Center has helped launch dozens of new churches and ministries including the South End Neighborhood Church, Congregación León de Judá, and the Center for Urban Ministerial Education.
