Support Boston Schools This Holiday Season

Emmanuel Gospel Center

The Boston public school community continues to face one challenge after another. The COVID pandemic forced a transition to virtual learning. Then students, teachers, and administrative staff faced all the uncertainties of switching back to in-person learning. These dynamics led to significant staff shortages, leaving a vacuum of trained professionals.

But we see this as an opportunity. Churches can get involved and extend God’s love and care to the community by developing partnerships with schools to help students thrive. The Boston Education Collaborative (BEC) at the Emmanuel Gospel Center seeks to empower churches, schools, and nonprofits to support underserved urban students.

This season, we are raising funds, and requesting volunteers to support schools and after-school programs. Your gifts help make a difference as students and their families enter the holiday season. Would you consider contributing via one of the options below?

The “Love Boston” fund will provide basic necessities such as food, diapers, and clothing to students and families in need. The BEC works with partner schools, churches, and programs that serve these families to provide the resources.

The BEC seeks to empower churches, schools, and nonprofits to support underserved urban students. You can give toward the work of building church-school partnerships and increasing capacity for after-school programs in Boston.
